Cox w wywiadzie dla - Friends Til the End

Udało mi się jakiś czas temu zakupić (po angielsku) książkę "Friends Til the End".

To już drugi wywiad który przepisuje. Znów podkreślam,że nie jest on w całości, bo naprawdę dużo czasu bym na to straciła.
Dziś, Courtney Cox i jej ciekawsze wypowiedzi na temat aktorów, planu i ogolnie serialu. Smile

COURTENEY COX

"Courteney is amazing. She likes to work really hard ans she's very into the whole process. She's a brilliantly gifted comedienne and I dont think she knew that at the beginning. But she just grew into it, working with all of us, and bringing her own kind of crazy neurosis to the part. She's an amazing dramatic acress too, and that's what has helped me a great deal in my career and on the show, because we can stop with the joking and have a real moment together"- says Matthew Perry.

-What do you remember about winning the role of Monica?
C:-Well for one thing,I remember thinking the role was mine. Then I remember being in the ladies room at casting for Warner Bros, and overhearing from the next stall that Nancy McKeon was up for the role too.[...] It was a surprise and because of where I heard the surprise.[...]

-Why do you think it is that this cast has stuck together while so many others have splintered?
C:-I think each time that we negotiated, somebody would spearhead the effort to stay united. We all had our moments. It was different every single time, but the most important thing was that we all stuck together. [...]I dont know of any other shows that are like Friends, where there truly are six equal characters. In other shows there always seems to be a star, or maybe two stars and a few supporting roles.[...]

O ROLI RACHEL:

-Originally you were approached to play the part od Rachel, but you chose to play Monica. What was it about her that appealed to you?
C:- I liked the fact that Monica was sarcastic. But the truth is that when you read a pilot you don't really know. I felt like I related to her somehow. She seemed king of strong, and I thought she would be fun to play.These are all just chances that you take, and in reality I had no idea. I didnt even think about in that much. To me I thought "wow, this is a pretty good pilot, and its a job" And I needed a job.[...]

-But whenit started you were the famous one.
C:-In this business, you always need a job. Sure, I may have done things before Friends, but trust me, it wasnt like I was retiring off my money.

O ZMIANACH W POSTACI:

-How much was Monica defined in the beginning?
C:- When I first read the pilot, I didnt know that Monica was going to be that obsessive. I knew that she was neurotic, but I didnt know how hight strung or obsessive she would become. I didnt realize she was going to go to that extreme.I thought she was just a girl who wanted to be in the relationship and she wasnt a goody swo shoes.

-Were there moments along the way when it became clear to you just how big a deal Friends had become?
C:- When we want to England to film Ross's wedding to Emily, that was a pretty good indication of what was happening. There were so many paparazzi over there that we all said to each other. "Wow this really is big". I preferred shooting on our stage with our crew, but it was a lot of fun. it was a very big working vacation. I shared a hotel room with Jennifer and we had a ball.

-You really were roommates then?
C:- Well, we had 2 bedrooms, but we shared a suite.

O LEBLANCU:

-What do you like about Matt LeBlanc as an actor?
C:-Matt is probably one of the best-hearted people that I know, besides my housband, David.[...]Matts able to take this role and make Joey so lovable and so real even though hes such a caricature in many other ways.[..]

O KUDROW:

-How about Lisa Kudrow?
C:-I think Lisa is a brilliant girl and i admire the way she is so smart and can play a character so innocent and kooky. [...] She is one of my favourite people.

O ANISTON:

-Jennifer Aniston?
C;- Jen is amazing actress, and i love her so much. She is such a real person, and she has so much talent its unbelievable. Watching her play the dramatic parts on Friends and in other roles and then doing the comedy is such an ethereal way, Its just fantastic. She's like my sister. I adore that girl. She's my friend for life.

O ROLI JEN:

-Do you think you would have played Rachel very differently whan Jennifer has?
C:- Oh yes, totally. I dont have the same qualities that Jennifer has. We have the same morals and sens of humor, but we're different in many ways.If I had played Rachel, she would be much more neurotic, whereas I think jen has made her sexy, fun-loving, a little absentminded, and ethereal.[...] Rachels character is actually more fun-Monica is uptight.[...]

O BLISKOŚCI Z PERRYM:

-We somehow skipped your TV husband. What have you enjoyed about working so closely with Perry?
C:-Matthew is a comic genius, he really is. He uses inflections that only Perry can do. I think Matthew is just brilliant at delivering lines, and he is also a great dramatic actor. He's just a one-of-a-kind guy.I've learned a lot from him,and we've been through a lot of ups and downs.[...]He's like my family. I really have worked so closely with him for so many years, and i love him.

O PROBLAMACH PERREGO:

On a personal level, are you proud of the way he's turned his life around?
C;-Yes, Im always proud of Matthew. Im proud of his growth.Im proud os so many things that he's done and that he does.Im proud to know him, because he's a really good person and he's reallt grown up.

O ZWIĄZKU Z CHANDLEREM:

-When you first heard about the romantic relationship between Monica and Chandler were you excited or nervous?
C;- I was extremely excited about that plot lone and it made rok fun for me. Work is always fun, but change excites me, and that was a great change.[...] I love the epiosde where I asked Chandler to merry me. I hadn't had the chance on this show to play a dramatic, comedic moment quite like that before.[...]that episode was really special to me.[...]

O SERIALU:

-How dramatically do you think Friends has changed your life?
C:- Oh God, 100 percent -180 degrees. It changed my life in so many ways.[..]It changed my life completely.These was important years to all of us, and wecame through them all together. Its been amazing experience to shere with people who'he actually become your friends.[...]

Uff...to by było na tyle. Przepisałam 1/3 mam nadzieje że się miło będzie czytać. Oczywiście z czasem dodam resztę wywiadów, z resztą aktorów. Smile

Nie, niestety nie mam skanera i FineReadera, dlatego staram się przepisać to co ważniejsze i to co ciekawsze.
Reszta pytań odnosi się jej życia prywatnego i innych produkcji z jej udziałem.
To co dotyczy serialu i ludzi to większość przepisuje Smile

Wiem, to zdanie jest bez sensu, ale faktycznie Cox tak powiedziała "Dzieliłam pokój hotelowy z Jennifer i miałyśmy piłkę". xD

PS. Za jakiś czas dam wywiad z Kudrow i całą resztą. Mam tego trochę. Very Happy

Tak, sens jest taki że ich apartamant miał dwie różne, oddzielne sypialnie. ;D

Książka jest w sumie w miękkiej okladce, ale z dobrego, twardego papieru.

O większości książek slyszałam,ale mi zależalo akurat na tej która mam(polecam ją, naprawdę).
Kupiłam te książkę od dziewczyny mieszkającej pod Warszawą, za 90 zł.
Pierwszy raz zauwazyłam ją w jakimś wywiadzie, na youtubie i tak jakoś wyszło że zaczełam się za rozglądać. Niestety jest trudna do nabycia bo to "Authorized collector's edition" Smile
